Presented below is the video titled  'KEATING ECONOMICS: John McCain & The Making of a Financial Crisis' which chronicles the alleged role John McCain played in covering-up illegal activities of Charles Keating and Lincoln Savings. The key elements here are a consistent pattern of promoting deregulation, associating with deregulation advocates, and displaying judgement that permits Senator McCain to maintain these positions in the face of consistent failures of his philosophies and strategies, which have also lead to the loss of billions of dollars of taxpayers money.

The McCain campaign has decided to go down the final stretch of this campaign not selling it's vision and ideas for the future of our country, but rather raising questions about the character of the opponent. And among their first salvos is characterising the activities of someone Barack Obama worked with to raise money to support a school as a young community organizer, and who Obama did not know when the person committed the acts - in fact Obama was 8 years old at the time the acts were committed - means Obama 'associates with terrorists' (plural on terrorists even though no other persons are named).

As of this writing, there's only one candidate in this race who has a record of stubborn steadfastness to positions and strategies regardless of their impact. When you vote you must decide if that kind of stubborness (not unlike that of President George W. Bush) will take us where we need to go as a nation. More importantly, will it protect your interests in obtaining a quality education, maintaing a job, having the health care coverage you need, and being able to look forward to a stable retirement.

So with everything going on in our economy, healthcare, the war, and education - to name a few important issues - more than 40% of Americans support McCain who presents no vision, no plan, and has nothing to say but attacks on his opponent. McCain who runs on a platform of 'experience', is 72 years old with cancer, and when faced with selecting a Vice President who will preside over the toughest financial and global circumstances we have ever faced looks to a smalll town in Alaska and selects someone who didn't even have a passport till 2005. This is the guy more than 40% of Americans want to run our country at a time when we are struggling to maintain our leading positions in the world in finance, human rights, and as a beacon of democracy. WOW! God help America!
