The Banks Are The Bad Guys!

The big, multi-national, too big to fail banks like Goldman Sachs have co-opted democracy on a global level. And they are now in charge of a new very elite and lucrative power class that rules our country.

You remember the dot-com bubble, and how can you forget the recent housing/credit bubble. Well if you ever wondered what's driving record high gas prices that fuel huge profits while draining your pockets, check out Rolling Stone reporter Matt Taibbi's report on the "Great American Bubble Machine." Here is a lucid and layman account of the scam being run on our free markets that pays profits while everything collapses, then pays the culprits too fix the mess they made. And all the money being used is ours.

It's really important that you get a grip and learn about these happenings so you can see how really bad it is. You need to know that you simply cannot trust what you see or hear on any radio, TV or Internet media source (including this one) just because they publish it or say so. There is only one way to get at the facts today -- get your information from at least four different sources and break things down into simple terms. Your God given common sense and life experience has taught you that things make sense. So when you are told they are so complicated you have to leave it to the "experts" to figure out, you know somethings up. Now there are aspects to running a large society that are complicated, but basic rules of transparency apply.

Doesn't it bother you that everyone you can watch on TV giving an opinion is a) upper middle-class at a minimum, b) has served in a role on the side of the business, industry, or government agency being talked about -- as opposed to being a critic of that entity or issue, and c) never calls for any major change -- maybe talks about some options, but nothing against a major business playing a role and getting paid for it. Notice when big businesses get caught doing something even really bad they pay fines. Want proof, Goldman Sachs gets your money to cover losses on its bad bets, you can go to jail for writing a check you can't cover, in addition to paying the fees and fines. So why do you allow your leaders and others to exert power over you when you know something is wrong. The common answer is cause it's too complicated, you're too busy, and you just want you and your family to be okay. But the point is it's you and your family that are being jacked.

Remember the golden rule -- "He who has the gold rules." That is our current state of affairs. WE DO NOT LIVE IN A DEMOCRACY! In our society those with substantial wealth have far superior choices, benefits, are exempt from the harshest consequences of our laws, and have access to make laws to their benefit. This is not democracy. So if you're not one of the wealthiest 10% among us then stop putting your energy on issues that divide you and support the issues that you share with your neighbors. And by the way, if you look around you'll find the wealthy don't live next door to you. Need proof? Have you run into Rush Limbaugh in line at Wal-Mart lately?
