As we come closer to the 2008 election, I wanted to reflect on the importance each one of us plays in our society. We are each born an individual with thoughts and ideas, power to choose, and power to act. In keeping with the awesome responsibility that comes with our individualism, I wanted to add to the thoughts and ideas we may have on the future of our nation by sharing an essay by author and legal scholar Charles A. Reich titled "The Liberals' Mistake". Whatever your views, I am confident anyone who reads this work will be provoked to explore and consider its premises and positions. Whatever your views, the more informed they are the better. Enjoy!
